Select Parent Layer

Anime Studio Script
Download Select Parent Layer script ver.1.0

This tool works as a button in the toolbox, when you click it (or even better assign a hotkey for it) the selected layer in the Layers box changes to the parent of the layer. Very useful if you work a lot with nested skeletons and switch layers.

Installation: Download and unzip in your >scripts>tool folder.

Then open _tool_list.txt located in the tool folder.
If there are no “Other” group at the bottom of the list add one by inserting the lines;
group Other
color 204 220 232 255
Under those lines add;
button DR_select_parent_layer J
(J is the hotkey, you can set this to whatever key you want, J, K, O and Y is by default not mapped to any tool).
Save _tool_list.txt and refresh Moho (ctrl+F5).

List Source Image

Anime Studio script.
Download List Source Image ver. 1.0.

I find it odd that you from a standard Anime Studio Pro can’t see which image that is actually used in an image layer. There’s where this script comes in; just select an image layer and run the script to find out which source image the layer has.

To install just drop it in your ../AnimeStudioPro/scripts/menu/Image -folder.

Random Switch

Anime Studio Pro script
Download Random Switch script ver.1.0.

Installation: Just put it in your scripts/menu/other folder.

Usage: Select a Switch layer and run the script.
The switches in the layer will be layed out in the timeline randomly.
The parameters you can set is the range to add keyframes in, the interval between keyframes and whether the first frame in the range always should be keyed.

Uniform Layer Scale

Friday, September 30th, 2005

Anime Studio Pro script
Download Uniform Layer Scale ver.1.0.

Uniform Layer Scale works just like the original Layer Scale tool, with the addition of a tick-box that let you scale one axis numerical and have the others scale automatic to preserve the proportions of the layer.

To install, just put the files in the scripts/tool folder. If you want to replace the old scale layer tool, open _tool_list.txt and change “lm_scale_layer” to “DR_uni_scale_layer”, else it will be put in the “Other” group in the Toolbar.

(AS5 only. Conflicts with AS6 scale layer tool. Will update later.)
